Location: Coos Bay, OR- The spectacular Southern Oregon Coast is a beautiful place to call home. The community takes pride in the splendor of Oregon and the natural beauty of its coastlines. Facility: Hospital offers comprehensive medical services for people of all ages. Health and wellness services in pediatrics, childbirth and obstetrics, gynecology and female health, cancer diagnosis and treatment in oncology, diabetes and kidney disease treatment, geriatric medicine and services for the elderly and disable, emergency medicine, and a full range of specialty medical services.

Opportunity: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
*Permanent Full-time Position
*Shift as assigned
*PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
- Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
- Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
- Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
- Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair
- Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
- Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
- May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
- May require periodic use of personal computer
*Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (prior to start) - REQUIRED
*Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
